K.T. Braxton, here. I was bred in Detroit, Michigan on the Northwest side. I learned young that true power is not in just knowledge but in wisdom, as true wisdom comes from the Most High. As most women, I wear a few other hats in my personal life: daughter, sister, friend, godmommy, auntie, and more. Those are the most profound for me. I'm known for my tough demeanor, but underneath it all my heart is to nurture all I can. Though one human cannot fix all the problems of the world, the domino effect is real. I believe my work, both professional and personal, can and will take part in this effect. It is my mission to let all know that they have purpose and it begins with taking that leap of faith to live unapologetically. When I am not working to build business, I wear many hats including that of an author. It is still so surreal that I am writing my first novel.
